Greetings Chamber members and friends!
With the first snowflakes falling on the area, it’s time to get ready for Christmas on Main Street! The theme of this year’s event, scheduled for December 2-4, is “Christmas is Coming!” Here’s what is in the works. We would love for you to be involved. Contact the Chamber at 406-827-4930 or email us at thompsonfallschamber@gmail.com to be a part of this magical week!
THOMPSON FALLS CHAMBER HOLIDAY STROLL: Thursday, December 2, 4-6 p.m.
We invite businesses to stay open until 6 p.m. and welcome the community. Decorate your storefront, offer treats or special discounts for Christmas on Main Street patrons. Carolers will be strolling Main Street. For the kiddos, craft stations will be set up at businesses throughout town. Right now we have The Sanders County Ledger and First Baptist Church. If you would like to offer a craft station, let us know so we can advertise for you! At 6 p.m., the Community Christmas Tree will be lit at Ainsworth Park. Join the Chamber for carols and the tree lighting.
WINDOW DECORATING CONTEST: Judging will take place Thursday, December 2, during the Holiday Stroll. Thompson Falls Main Street is sponsoring the contest. See below for more information. We’re excited to see how creative businesses get!
CHAMBER COLORING CONTEST: Entries due Wednesday, December 1
The Chamber also is sponsoring a coloring contest for all ages. Chamber board member Andrea Christensen created a coloring page to go with this year’s “Christmas is Coming” theme. Prizes will be awarded in the following age categories: 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21 and over.
